8. Low vitamin B levels can contribute to dandruff, hair falling out, and grey hair. Take vitamin B supplements to keep your hair shiny and healthy.

9. Getting blood to the scalp is very important to hair health. Eating fruits and vegetables keeps your capillaries healthy allowing blood to flow freely.

10. To encourage hair growth take vitamin E. Instead of eating refined flours, try eating wholemeal, wheat germ, eggs and vegetable oil.

11. Research shows that low levels of copper can contribute to hair falling out. The best way to increase your intake of copper is to eat nuts like cashews, peanuts and seeds. Whole milk and beans are also a good source of copper.
